Silver Telecom Expands Relationship With Avaya to Provide IP
Telephony Components

Silver Telecom, a British-based company specialising in the design and development of
telephone interface circuits, has recently secured a contract with Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a
leading provider of voice and data networks to businesses.

Silver Telecom's Ag2410 analogue trunk interface enables the Avaya ™ IP Office system - a
converged voice and data solution aimed at the small to medium enterprises market - to
interoperate with traditional as well as Internet Protocol (IP) telephone networks,
facilitating the effective deployment of the system in the US and Europe and other markets.

Avaya, based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, was looking for an integrated and versatile
solution for its IP Office system. Silver Telecom's cost and flexibility, coupled with its
technical expertise and extensive experience were winning factors to provide the components
required by Avaya.

Due to the success of their latest venture with the company, Silver Telecom is looking forward
to building upon and strengthening its relationship with Avaya.
