SLICs

Silver Telecom SLIC modules are suitable for many analog line interface application. They enable
signals to be transmitted and received from the telephone line, feed power to the lines and
monitor line conditions.

Our SLIC module range includes products for many applications from low cost simple SLICs
up to highly featured multi-channel SLICs with integral DC-DC converter. Typical applications
include - Internet Telephony (VoIP), Fixed Cellular Terminals (FCT), Wireless Local Loop
Terminals (WLL) and Fixed Wireless Terminals (FWT) applications.

COIC and PSTN

Silver Telecom also supplies Trunk circuits (DAAs) that terminate the telephone line, capable of
meeting the necessary regulatory approvals. Applications range from small business telephone
systems, designed for use in small offices, to large network infrastructure equipment with
many hundreds of lines. They are also ideal for systems such as wireless local loop (WLL),
digital loop carrier (DLC), ISDN terminal adapters or VoIP gateways.
